You can place your tags or a card next to fragile or "tippy" models like china horses (also minis) instead of attaching it to the model's leg. When putting your model in the show ring put the side of the tag with the model's name up so the judge can see it. The side with your initials on it should be down facing the table.

There will be 5 minuets between halter classes & 7 minuets between performance classes.
Classes may be split or combined. Unsteady horses may be laid down. Judge has the right to pick up all models that are laying down in order to judge it.
OF Breyer/Other Division: No vintage Breyers can cross enter & show in this division. Vintage Breyers with modern paint jobs can show in OF Breyer as they can't show in the OF Breyer Vintage division.
OF Vintage Breyer Division: For Breyers produced from the year 1999 & earlier. No vintage molds with modern paint jobs can show in this division, they must show in the OF Breyer/Other division.
Vintage Custom/Artist Resin/Original Sculpture- Classes have been added to both the Custom division & Artist Resin Divisions for the vintage models to show in. Each division has a "section" of breed classes at the end of the breed classes for them to show in. A vintage CM/AR/OS is any model customized/painted prior to the year 2000 (1999 & before). Any artist resin produced & painted prior to the year 2000. Any original sculpture sculpted/painted prior to the year 2000. All work done on each model entered must be done prior to the year 2000. Some repair/restoration work is ok but most of the work must but be original. Vintage original sculptures show in the artist resin division.
Limits: Entrants may show up to three horses per halter & two in performance classes. Two additional horses may be entered for $1.00 each per class in halter & one in performance. Place the horse with the dollar on the table. The judge/show hostess will collect the dollars.
Performance: PLEASE LIMIT YOUR SET-UPS TO NAMHSA Footing sizes 18" x 30", 24”x24”, 24” x 30”. Exceptions will be made for harness entries with oversize hitches. Halter classes will not be held for models that you are showing in performance. Plan your show string accordingly.
Proper tack, obstacles required.
Pattern/Documentation: Most performance classes require documentation & quite a few require a pattern to show what your model/entry is doing. Be sure to include this with your entries in their classes, it will help your entries place better.
Showmanship: Showmanship entries many only show in the showmanship class. Please do put showmanship entries in english & western other performance. Halter with lead or bridle required, dolls are not.
Scene Class: Must have a set up. Must have footing, props & scenery.
Fox Hunting Entries: Put fox hunting entries in the Other Performance class in the Other Performance section.
Regalia/Costume Class: The term "costume" is no longer being used to describe Native American regalia & other types of "costumes" & the word regalia has replaced it. Those "costume" entries go in the regalia/costume class. No Halloween or "fun" costumes in the regalia class.
Stockhorse Classes: Requires the correct cow/calf/steer.
Stockhorse Classes: No braided/banded manes. Silver on tack is discouraged. Dolls should be wearing proper outfits for stockwork classes & not western pleasure type outfits.
Arena Trail: Man-made trail obstacles set up in an arena.
Natural Trail: Natural trail obstacles (can't be man-made) found while on a trail ride. Can't be in an arena setting.
Extreme Cowboy: All extreme cowboy entries go in the extreme cowboy class in the Stockhorse section.
Halter Class Guidelines
Models can show in one halter division & can't cross enter into other halter divisions. For example a CM mini can only show in the CM Mini division & can't also show in the CM division. Also, a Vintage CM/AR/OS can't cross enter into the CM & AR divisions. OF mini's can't cross enter into the other OF divisions. You must pick one division for each of your models & stick with it.
Halters are optional for breed classes. If you do use a halter, be sure it is correct for the breed and fits the model correctly.
Models can show in one breed class & one collectability/workmanship class within their halter divisions.
Short paragraphs and reference photos are encouraged for rare breeds. Size not to exceed 8 ½ x 11 inches. Please do not place books on the table.
Documentation is REQUIRED for collectability. If you want your horse considered for collectability you must provide an index card stating what the model is. Please do this for your OF plastic & OF china/OF resin models.
Original Finish – Is defined as any model that is mass-produced at a factory (i.e. Breyer, Stone, Hartland) and has not been altered in any way after leaving the factory. This includes but is not limited to the use of spray polish, applying black polish to hooves, or adding a glossy finish to a matte model. Touch-ups are permitted if not obvious.
Custom Models – Are defined as any plastic model that has been changed from its original form in any media. These classes also includes cold painted china models.
Artist Resins – Are defined as any model, regardless of number in run, which has been home or professionally cast. Original Sculptures also qualify for the resin division. Resins that have been altered after casting still enter the resin classes.
OF China – Any factory produced china, porcelain, cold-cast porcelain, or resin models show in the china division. This includes Hagen –Renaker, Beswick, Lakeshore, Japan chinas, OF Breyer porcelains, OF Breyer resins, North Lights, BHR resins, Border Fine Arts, the Starlite Collection, and H&H Winner’s Circle OF Resin Line.
CM Glazed China - Any china horse that has been altered from its original finish by firing a permanent glaze onto the horse, or uniquely glazed by the factory, sculptor or another artist in a color not released in a regular edition. Cold-painted china or mass-produced resin horses belong in the Custom division.
Mini Divisions- Any model that is Little Bit/Pebbles size & smaller (Little Bits, Pebbles, Stablemates, Chips, Curio, Venti, Tinymites, micro minis, charm) show in the Mini divisions. Models Classic size & larger can not show in the mini divisions.
Fantasy Models (All Makes & Scales)- Fantasy Equine eligibility is limited to equine based fantasy models such as: Equine Unicorns, Pegasus, Hippocampus, Hippogriff, Thestral, Zombie Horse, Skeletal Horse, or other fantasy equines which depict a creature that is at least 50% equine in form.
Medallion/Bust Classes: This year there will be 3 classes. Resin, china & other will be split. There will be China Medallions/Busts Class, Resin Medallions/Busts Class & Other Make Medallions/Bust Class for medallions/busts made of wood, plastic, glass, etc.
These classes are judged on beauty & workmanship. The card system will be used for these classes. Give the "medallion or bust" a name (can be any name, just like how you name a model) & put it on one side of the card & the owner's on the other. Put the medallion's or bust's "name" side "up" in the ring. There is no limit on how many you can enter. Paper flats 1st-6th place.
These are regular classes & not fun classes.
These classes will be held in ring 5 after the CM Glazed China division is over. They will only be held on Saturday & not on both days. If you are showing only on Sunday & want to enter these classes you can come in a show in just these 3 classes. Note: you will not have a table to set up on since you are not showing on Saturday, you can come in & put your entries in the ring only. I don't know when these classes will start as I have no way to know when the CM Glaze division will be done.

Saturday Fun Classes!
Fun classes will be held in Ring 1or 5 after the CM/AR Performance or CM Glaze division is over.
Ocean/Beach Scene: This must be a scene & not just a model put on the table without a scene. There must be at least one model horse in your entry. That model can be a fantasy model too just as long as there is a model, the rest is anything goes. Time to get creative with your models! You must have at least one model horse in your scene, the scene will be judged as a whole unit, not on the model alone. Put a sea horse costume on your horse, maybe a merhorse? A shark eating a horse (NO!)? A lazy day on the beach? There are a lot of ideas! Also, this part of the Atlantic coast is known as the Treasure Coast. You could have fun working the Treasure Coast theme into your set up! Why is it called the treasure coast? This area is appropriately named since over 300 years ago, several Spanish galleons carrying gold and silver shipwrecked off the southeastern Florida shore dumping their treasures into the sea. Artifacts from these ships have been recovered during the past fifty years. Riches from these 17th and 18th century shipwrecks have been found by professional treasure-hunters and amateur beachcombers alike. As recently as August 2010, a man diving in shallow water found a gold coin that was minted in Mexico in the 1650s. Go crazy with your ocean & beach theme ideas! Each entrant can enter up to 2 entries in this class. Paper flats 1st-6th plus special awards to the 1st & 2nd place winners. Put a description of what your entry is by your entry. Also, on a card put the name of your entry (name of your scene) on one side & your name on the back of it. Put the scene's name side "up" in the ring.
Favorite Childhood Model: This is your first Breyer or model horse that you owned when you were a kid or first started out in the hobby. It can be broken, rubbed, all banged up from your first carpet herd. Please include a short history about the model & why it is so loved with it in the ring. Paper flats 1st-6th plus special awards to the 1st & 2nd place winners. Also, on a card put the name of your model on one side & your name on the back of it.
Stuffed Animal: This is always a favorite class of mine to judge each year! Bring out your stuffed animals of all kinds! You can enter up to 2 stuffed animals in this fun class. Paper flats 1st-6th with special prizes to the 1st & 2nd place winners. You will need your standard ID card for your entries for this class too, don't forget it!
Sunday Fun Classes!
Fun classes will be held in Ring 1 after the OF Performance division is over (or whatever ring is done first).
Favorite Unpainted Resins: That is right, show off your unpainted resins! We all have them so let's bring them out & show them off while they are waiting to be painted! They can be prepped, even customized a bit, just not painted. You can enter up to 2 models in this class! They can be any scale. I will judge it on who I would most like to own myself. Paper flats 1st-6th with special prizes to the 1st & 2nd place winners. You will need your standard ID card for your model for this class too, don't forget it!
Other Animals: Bring out your farm animals, your wild animals, anything that is not a horse! Birds, fish? Bing them too! Anything plastic, resin, china, etc. can be shown! Let's see what you have! Don't forget your entry's card. Put it's name on the front & your name on the back. You can enter 2 entries in this class. Put it's "name" side up in the ring. Paper flats 1st-6th with special prizes to the 1st & 2nd place winners. No stuffed animals as they have their own class on Saturday.
Model Horse Artisan Fun Class: This is for all you model horse customizers & painters! Show off your work! It can be new work or older work but you must be the one who did all the CM/paintwork on the model! If it is vintage, that is fine, if you just finished it that is great too! Let's see your work! You can enter up to 2 models in this fun class. Paper flats 1st-6th with special prizes to the 1st & 2nd place winners. You will need your standard ID card for your model for this class too, don't forget it!
